How to Change a Cardholder's Purchasing Limits

Summary: Follow the steps on this page to change a cardholder's limits.

What the Supervisor or Unit Manager does:

How to do it:
1 Request change to Cardholder's limit by completing the UCSC Pro-card Acccount Modification or Closure Form.
  1. Determine that limit needs to be changed to accommodate cardholder's purchasing needs.
  2. Confirm that new limit is within pro-card allowances. See Cardholder Limits.
  3. Mark the Limit Change box and enter the Cardholder name and account number on the form.
  4. Complete the CARD LIMITS section.
  5. Sign the form and mail it to Purchasing or fax to 459-1851. This signature indicates the action was properly authorized. The Supervisor, FAST/AP and Purchasing each have authorization to temporarily suspend credit limits due to misuse.

Changes will be made at US Bank within three days of receipt of information. Contact the Procard Administrator if an urgent situation exists.
