The Spherion team is responsible for all functions related to contingent staffing:

• Find qualified candidates
• Set up interviews
• Offer positions
• Negotiate salaries
• Complete legal and employment paperwork
• Conduct orientation
• Evaluate performance during the employee's assignment.

All contingent workers will meet with the Spherion staff for initial paperwork and orientation. Employment is contingent on the results of the background investigation meeting UCSC's security guidelines.
